3rd brake light out.

Removed my ARE shell to head out of town, (Hauling back a fridge) and found my 3rd brake light is not working. Havent checked anything yet as I am at work. Hoping it is just a bulb. Have shell brake light hooked up under the truck, not thru same circuit.



Easy to remove the cover and check? If not the bulb, what is the most likely / most common issue?

Yep, easy to remove the third brake light lense. Just two screws from the outside. Probably just the bulbs since you've had the cap on and not able to see how long the brake lights been out.
