2003 ST front driver seat

good evening all.



I have a 2003 XLT cloth interior ST, and my driver seat had under the seat, a spring/ piece of wire lose that eventually felt. The driver seat feels like is no longer in good shape and it feels like there are some exposed wires, or at least this is what it feels like when seated.



Is the interior covered under some specific warranty?or is it the three yr/ 36 k miles?



is it worth looking into a junk yard to see what I find?

Langston's Used Auto Parts in Tampa has cloth seats from an 03 Explorer XLS... doesn't say if it's a Sport Trac or not. www.car-part.com doesn't specify more than just Explorer.
