Guys I've noticed a slight oil leak from the rear-end where the driveshaft connects. Has anybody ever had this problem? Is it an expensive fix? I have a friend that is the store manager at one of the local Firestone stores and he says its $140 for the seal and $240 for a total service. Opinions/suggestions? Thanks.

Its a pretty easy fix just check the break away torque of the yoke nut, before you remove it... pull off the yoke change the seal and reinstall everything torque the nut back to where it was maybe a foot lb more.. put the driveshaft back in..refill any dope you leaked out and your good to go...

If it is just seepage, dirty wet. just keep an eye on it. If it dripping or slinging lube. Fix it.
