2002 Sport trac turn signal

VERY CONFUSED & FRUSTRATED



I own a 2002 Sport Trac, just last week the Driver side front turn signal does not flash. So I change it with a new light bulb, and still no flashing. The light works though as normal, but not as a turn signal. I checked the fuse box and checked ok. So I took the light bulb base from the left and put it in the right side. It worked. I took the right side and put it in the left, the turn signal did not work. So I checked & eliminated a burned bulb, fuse, and a light base. What else could be the problem?

Try tilting your steering column up and down to see if it works then.
