200 000 km. time for a change

alright guys... here it is... just crossed over 200K and my tranny whines like a banshee. I got a quote for a used tranny with 85000k on it for $900 CAD aor an Engine, Tranny and ECU for $1500... now, my mechanic tells me the book time in the engine/ tranny swap is about 15 hours, and I plan on doing it myself. any and all help will be needed, and very much appreciated.

Every car/ truck has a lifespan, throw an old engine tranny at it, the following week a new issue will happen, than the next and the next.

15hun will become 2k, 15 hrs will become 20 hrs, than your into it more than it is worth.

And more problems down the road, get rid of it JMO
