+12 Constent

I am installing a FRDN-AUX/s in my 2003 Sport Trac and one wire gets connected to a +12 Constant, my question is on my Cigarette lighter i have 2 wires, one is black (i assume its a ground or negative) and the other wire is a stripped wire (is this wire the +12??) I want to get this finished, so any help ASAP....thank you.
