09-10 why two 4WDs systems for V8?

I noticed that 4.6L V8 models in 2009 and 2010 other than Adrenalin use switchable AWD/4Hi/4/Lo system,but Adrenalin use AWD one-speed only. Anybody know why?

Adrenalin is not really expected to go off-road. If you don't go off-road, there isn't a need for lo range.

Bill, For Regular off road & beach driving riding 4 Hi

For Climbing dunes or dirt or rock or pulling your buddy out of a hole 4 Lo

N E V E R use the AWD in Sand or Beach driving (espically with stock tires) you will dig your self a hole faster than you know what if you get in the soft deep sand ruts or cocina,

AWD is the Best for icy or very slick roads. I was amazed with the AWD when I rented a 4x4 Explorer in Montana on a Ski trip in extremely icy mix with hard pack snowy conditions. Always Tread lightly... But home in N. Florida 4x4 Hi only for the beach. Easy does it.
