'02 exterior keypad remote entry fell in door

Does anyone know how to access the keypad door unlock panel? The keys pushed in and fell in the door. The exterior black plastic trim feels like it could come off, but I am afraid of breaking it.



Also wondered if the keys were held to the trim by clips or glue.

Pull the inside door panel off and take a look. I never checked mine.

Is it your typical door panel removal? Couple of screws and clips?

Pretty much. There are screws on the bottom of the door and 2 inside the handle. There are clips around the sides and be careful, the door panel lifts up not out at the top. Right where the door mirror is, the panel has a piece of plastic that just slides into a hole. If you pull to hard it breaks off and it's the only thing holding on there. But all-in-all, not to hard to do.
