For Sale 2001 Explorer Sport Trac 4x4

Love her to death but it's time to upgrade.

Looking for $8000 OBRO given everything i have put inot over the last year.

This is a 01’ Explorer Sport Trac with 103K miles. It has been well taken care of (ASE Certified mechanic owned and operated). Has had a lot of $$$$$$ put into it over the last year. I have owned the vehicle since 52K. Oil has been changed every 3500 miles, and all services have been performed as per Ford recommendation. Loaded with everything except leather. PWR wd, dl, rear power window. Roof console with temperature and direction indicator, fog lights, tow package, running boards, K&N air filter installed, OEM bed cover, Optional Thule roof system (optional as in you will have to pay extra to get it)

New parts (within the last 10 Months)

Front End-

Explorer Express poly sway bar bushings (greaseable)

Explorer Express poly sway bar end link bushings

NAPA sway bar end links (old ones corroded so decided to replace)

Ford OEM Upper ball joints

Ford OEM Lower ball joints

Rancho RS5000 Shocks

Ford OEM Wheel Bearings (the r/f started to make noise so I replaced them both)

Rear End

Explorer Express poly sway bar bushings

Explorer Express poly sway bar end link bushings

Rancho RS5000 Shocks

Rear shoes (brakes)

Rear wheel cylinders

Rear Drums (brakes)

Rear ABS Sensor

-Also four new (less than 5k) Goodyear Wrangler W/ Silent Armor (P255/70R16)

-Mounted and balanced by local ford dealer, also performed front end alignment and checked vehicle tracking.

- Oil Changed with Castrol Syntec up to 90K then I have been using Castrol GTX High mileage since. Been using Fram oil filters

- Recent tune up (plugs, wires, fuel filter, front and rear Diff fluid changed, and this is when I installed the K&N Air Filter.)

Vehicle Condition

Exterior- Good for its age. I use the vehicle for everything my wife and I enjoy a very active lifestyle (skiing, canoeing, biking….. ETC) Therefore is has it’s typical highway rock pits and what nots.

Exterior Accessories-

- OEM hard bed cover (front latch does not work , can get it from Ford cheap)

- Thule roof rack system (see pictures) complete with ski and bike attachment are available for an additional cost

- Trailer hitch (used for towing a 17’ bowrider twice a year) with four pin wiring harness

- Front fog lights

- Running boards (Rusty but you can get a new set for less than $100)

Interior- Well maintained. I have attempted to keep the interior in the best shape I can but remember this truck has 103K on it so it does have wear.

Interior Accessories

- Power window and door locks

- Power rear window

- COMPLETE AFTER MARKET AUDIO SYSTEM (no expense spared)

-Front Boston Acoustics 6.5” component system (Top of the line three years ago paid well over $1200 for these speakers)

- Rear 5X7 Alpine Type R

- Subwoofer Kenwood 10”

- Kenwood head unit with fold down face.

- Alpine V12 Series 4X75W for the doors

- Alpine Mono Amp 1X450 for sub.

- FREE SIRIUS SAT RADIO FOR LIFE AS LONG AS THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT ALTERED

- Remote start system, not a cheapie either, It is a Viper 2-way system, it will let you know if the vehicle is being tampered with up to a ¼ mile away (trust me it works) cost me well over $700 installed three years ago. I also installed front AND REAR alarm indicators.

If the picture do not work i have them in my profile.
