So cruise and horn stopped in the same day. All fuses are good, wire harness in column is good I hot glued the wires in, recall piece on the master cylinder replaced, relays good, cruise buttons replaced, clock spring replaced. Now I'm lost neither still work and I'm over due for inspection so...

Is this repair as easy with an auto 4x4?

When I have that problem it's usually the truck did not set in park right I always crank it move forward or reverse a little bit then put in park let brake go to be sure it engages and then turn off and release key always works for me hope it helps

Thanks for your input rod. I did in fact check all fuses and they are good and have unplugged the battery and plugged back in and still nothing there. So the search continues....

My blinkers in brakes were not working about a year back and I repaired the harness buy hot gluing all the wires into place is that harness for sure related to cruise control if so I will disassemble a steering column again and reglue my wires
