Stealership has the car...estimate is ~$900 for installation of new manifold, studs, gasket, etc. for the passenger side. That is assuming the other studs don't snap and they need to drill out the stud. Unfortunately i am over the mileage limt on the warranty (of course). It still irks me...

I pull a 20ft open car trailer...total weight with car is around 4500lbs. Had enough power but did play with the O/D switch on the highway when I hit some long uphills. I have a V8 STA. Only issue is mileage...about 12mpg (mostly highway) which I guess, all things considered, is not...

been trac'ing my mileage and it is pretty low...blame it on the winter gas blend. I am lucky to get 16-17 on highway (70-80) and the ave for a tank is about 12-13. Just curious since this is what I got the truck for, for those that tow, what do you guys get when you are towing 5000lb...

ditto...that is the one I used as well. Positioned the dump facing the outside and slightly downward, didn't even need a tip on it. The mounting bracket is not welded in so you have the flexibility to position the cut out valve any position you want (i.e. best to make sure the motor is tucked...

Wasn't expecting a big difference but this is the way it should have come from the factory! Feels like an entirely different truck...before sluggish off the line, didn't really feel like there was a 300hp V-8 under the hood but now it is noticeably better (87 perf tune). I guess if Ford did it...

I installed a round Magnaflow and an oval one in sequence (took out the stock resonator and muffler unit)...my family still thinks it is too loud so I will be putting the stock resonator back. It is restrictive but that is the price I pay for having a family with a low exhaust sound tolerance...

Thanks for all the response guys...the dealer claimed that most of the miles were back and forth once to one of their sister dealerships in the area (about 70 miles round trip) where they thought they had a buyer but didn't work out so they drove it back. Targeting next week for delivery...

So what delivery miled would you consider as too high for a "new" car? There is an 2008 STA that has 101 miles on it...pretty decent deal with x plan and the cash rebate but a part of me is concerned about the car being beat on for 100 miles. Opinions welcomed... Thanks!
