I just took my truck in for the same problem. I have an extended warrenty. They said it was not the thermostat housing but the intake manifold. I later called them back to check on the truck and they said I was right it was the thermostat housing. Of course they had to order the part.

Checked the connection on spark plug, pull off number three wire on coil pack and put back on. Disconnected input cable on coil pack and reconnected. Took it on the road and could not get it to happen again. No engine light and no codes set. Punched it, had it up to 85 mph, did that...

Check engine light came on, P0303 code on SCAN gague. Misfire on #3 cycinder. Only does it under heavy load, like accerating getting on freeway. Cleared code and engine light went away. Get on it again and light comes back on. Doesn't do it driving around town. 2005 with 47K miles on it...

I have them on my truck and they seem to be a good tire and that is a great price.

I use mine a lot, provides a good place at the end of the bed for storage and prevents things from sliding around. But sometimes it does get in the way, however you can take it out and put it in the back seat. Yes I think it is worth it.

When I bought my ST used it had a bad smell from the vents and the dealership sprayed some stuff throught the blend door behind the gove box.

I checked the battery this morning and the eye is back to showing green? Sometime this weekend I will pull the cover off and check the water level. Still starts fine.

There seems to be a problem with the scan gauges working with Fords. I sent mine back for warranty repair for the gauge. They said that they are going to add a component to make it work on Fords and they are waiting for these parts to arrive. Mine started to shut off and then come back on...

They were phenolic, bought one of each set of pads and took back the ones that were for the metal pistons. The differance is in the size of the clip that fits into the piston, bigger clip for the metal and smaller clip for the phenolic.

2005 Sport Trac XLT with rear disk brakes. How do you tell if you have phenolic or metal pistons without tearing down the rear brakes?
