My wife and I first saw a Sport Trac going north on Central Expy. in Dallas in 2001......we followed that vehicle admiring it...... We bought a 2002 Island Blue Sport Trac......after 180K miles, it is still with us..... I so love this truck.......

In addition to the ST, we have a 2006 Escape Hybrid. We now have 140K miles on it....mostly highway miles. We love it....... But for the record, the ST is way more comfortable as a road vehicle.

We went the 2006 Escape Hybrid route also about 6 weeks, also. We drive about 150 miles each day, have about 5200 miles so far. Been averaging 31 - 32 mpg and loving it every time we pull in to gas up. But the really good news is that we kept the 2002 ST......that vehicle has spoiled my...
