Hello all, I just purchased a new '07 ST and am looking for a bed cover. I have been looking at the OEM ones, which I really like but was also interested to see if there were any others that people recommended.

Any advice would be appreciated

Check out the Swap and sell section of this site, there are some for sale..

A lot depends on what you use the bed for. A hard cover wouldn't work for me because I often need the bed open and removing and reinstalling a hard cover many times would be a PITA. I assume a soft cover is available for 2007's.

I just sold the OEM cover from my '07. Like others said, it all depends on what you want. I personally did not like the OEM cover for a couple of reasons.

I picked up my new cover yesterday - its called an Undercover Bed Cover. Solid length, waterproof, and able to hold your weight if you crawl on it or stand on it. I had one on my Ranger also and have really been impressed with them. Link is here:

I have a TorzaTop by Advance I'd like to sell. It's a folding soft cover that locks to a special rail which bolts into factory threaded holes in the bed. Cover locks down securely and is easily installed and removed (rails stay on). I bought mine about a year ago, the Trac is in the garage year round except for camping trips and weekend use, so the cover is in excellent shape. Replaced it with a Leer fiberglass cap in March, so the Torza was really only on from July 06 to March 07. Paid $325, asking $175 + shipping.

I picked my Undercover up and installed it. Here it is:

Normal price on one is around $640 I think. I've got a few friends in low places at a few stores and dealerships, so I got mine for a little less. :D

I like that it will support your weight if you get on top of it, plus that it is manageable to remove and install by yourself. The mounting brackets fit into the stock mounting holes, so no need for drilling, etc. They are paintable also, but I'll leave this one black. Watertight also, so I don't have to worry about things getting wet. It has dual locks and LED light also.

No keyrings on the front. The covers for the regular trucks do have a ring on the bedside mount to keep it from coming off the slide mount, but not on the ST's. The ST has a screw-in and bolt slides inside the bed.

I had the ring/slide mount style on my Ranger. I didn't think it would work at all, but because of the way the cylinders attach, you couldn't get in from the front. I removed the rings and drilled out the holes where a small lock would go through, but it was not really necessary.

I'll try to remember to get a pic of the inside mounts tomorrow....

Have to edit that...

The '07's do not use a ring. Looking at the previous years install instructions, they may have that ring setup - I'm not sure. It is still not bad though. Worked well on my Rangers...
