Happened to my 05, but only when the tilt column was in the down position. Wire in the column is too short and disconnects, sometimes intermittently when the column is in the down position.
Hi. It's been a while. I use to be one of the biggest posters on here back in the day. I need help now. My 2005 XLT has the intermittent gauge cluster short that has become permanent now! How do I fix it? Do I need the keys reprogrammed when I get a new or aftermarket cluster?
