    360,000 miles and going strong

First owner - original engine and transmission. I was wondering if there is any other one out there with more miles. Being a member since 2001, my truck was featured the 10th one in ST of the Month section

    Need help

Yes, it was a broken wire. An amazing guy from Best Buy pulled the panels:banana:, traced the wires and found the broken one and fixed it. On top of that he did it free of charge and he even refused to accept a tip. Very nice guy.

    Need help

Thanks for the tips but what would be the odds to have problems be happening to all four doors in the same time. For me looks more like a electrical issue. I was hoping to find someone who had a similar issue, looks like I'm out of luck. The truth of the matter is that about three years back I...

Thanks for the nice words. No secret, just replaced all broken parts, kept clean and fluids changed on time (fully synthetic oil after 100,000 miles every 7,000 miles). And yes, original engine and transmission.

2003 Sp Trac Intermittent Starting Problems

I don't know if your issue happens only when the engine is still warm, that is my case. Mine will always start perfect in the morning or after a few hours after the truck was driven. Please check the discussion at the following link: http://www.twoguysgarage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8434...

2003 Sp Trac Intermittent Starting Problems

it's clearly a temperature related issue, my trac (2001 with 340,000 miles) has this issue as well and after digging I found this article: "Magnetic crankshaft position sensors are fairly simple and reliable, but the internal windings can sometimes open and kill the crank signal if the...
