    Gas Gauge failure

Rod - thanks for the info, is there a brand and an amount of fluid I could add on a tank of gas, I don’t have an issue experimenting, as long as I don’t cause more damage.

    Gas Gauge failure

Understood, but if I would get it to work, I wouldn’t mind adding a cleaner every few months

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

I know, I was going nuts, looks like that resolved my issue with the radiator, no more collapsed hose and the radiator is always full. Only thing I’m concerned about now is, can the bar leak impact anything down the road, should I flush the radiator to take everything out. 🤔

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

Sunday morning nice and fresh bulb kicks, a few months before I replace the thermostat housing, I have purchased a bottle of Bars Leak for radiator, as I was pouring the bottle into the radiator, the radiator filled up, but I still had a 1/2 bottle of Bars Leak left, so I poured the remained of...

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

So I tried this on Saturday, purchased a Gates radiator upper hose and replaced it, I also purchased the radiator funnel, raised the front of the truck, filled it ran it for about 45 mins, brought the rpms between 2k/3k, seen some of the air bobbles come out, great, I felt confident that it...

    Gas Gauge failure

I currently do that with the trip gauge and the fuel used gauge, I reset both of them when I fill up. With the trip gauge when I hit 280 miles I’ll go to the gas station and as a backup, I’ll check how much fuel I use.

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

Thanks, I’ll try this, I don’t have a vacuum, but will look into the radiator funnel, I was also thinking of taken it to a place to flush out the radiator and maybe they have the vacuum, but I know it would cost me $$&, so I’ll give this a shot first and see what comes out of it

    Gas Gauge failure

I was afraid of that, I was hoping that someone would have come across some sort of cleaning solution that would have resolved it.

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

Yes, I have. I just got a new Gates upper hose, I’m going to replace it and fill it up again and blast the heat with the windows open.

    Gas Gauge failure

2010 V6 Adrenaline When I have a full tank the gas huge indicates that the tank is full, but after I drive about 30 miles, the gas gauge drops to empty, from time to time it will spring back up, then back down to empty. I have added about 4 bottles of the Chevron Techron fluid, but still same...

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

I replaced it with a 16lb cap, and still have the same issue with the hose collapsing. I just ordered a Gates hose, hopefully that will help, I was looking for a hose with a spring, but couldn’t find one

    Collapsed Radiator Hose 2010 ST

I idled it several times with the cap off, added coolant and squeezed the hose to let air, but seems to be collapsing, when it gets cold and I take the cap off, the hose goes back to normal, and I need to add a little coolant in the system, seems to be going in the reserve tank, but not back...
