OK . . . As long as I leave either the radiator cap off, or loosely fitted w/the release arm in the up position, the truck will not run hot. I am leaking/losing radiator fluid somewhere. . . example..... I fill the radiator up, put the cap on loose, runs great . . the heater/defrost...

I pulled every fuse out and replaced them w/new ones. Still no radio. I wonder if my radio just died?? There are OEM radios on ebay, I may buy one and try it out. Ron

Well, here it is . . My tank setup is nothing like the project posted. My tank is held in w/1 t-strap, the other end of the tank sits on a metal lip and held in w/2 bolts. First, the lid/cover of the fuel pump is not screwed on, it's bolted on . . . . [Broken External Image]...

Agree . . . somethings up w/the battery. Check and see if your terminal posts have a build up of corrosion. - rduckjr -

The used fuel pumps I've been looking at are $35. The new pumps are $180+ . I will be doing the work, so if it goes bad, I am only out $35 plus my time. With 3 kids, 1 in college, 2 birthdays and Christmas coming up, $35 makes more sense to me. The used one comes w/a 1yr warranty.

Thanks!!! Is this something I can fix myself? Is the vacuum line somewhere I can access it? I'd really rather fix it myself than have to go back to the bodyshop and have to deal with them keeping it, getting back to work . . . yadda yadda yadda. Thanks so much for the help!!!
