Three volume set of Ford manuals for the 2007 Sport Trac / Explorer. Good condition, Volume 1, 2 and Electrical. $50 plus shipping.

There are 8 screws that hold the Gen 2 dash in place. I have replaced the bulbs twice in different areas of the dash. Not a difficult job - screws are torx.

Aren't the 2001 rear brakes drums? If so, it still is not hard. Have the drums turned and the shoes matched to the drums.

Bulb part number is 6L2Z13466 - just bought for $5.48:yawn:

I installed the F150 Tailgate camera. I also used the mirror, but this will work with any head unit capable of working with a camera. The camera was a 08 and up option on the F150 and will show up on ebay for around $150 for the camera only. Wiring is fairly simple. Hook into the reverse...

I had the same issue on my 2001 Trac. Wasn't the switch, but the wiper motor. Easier to replace.

You can buy the setup from ebay[Broken External Image]: Easy - hardest part was cutting the hole in the tailgate - not bad otherwise.

OK, but is it only held on with tape or is it bolted. Manuals do not say. I want to put the camera emblem back there.

Has any one removed the blue ford emblem from the tailgate of a gen 2? Thanks Rick

My 2001 did the same thing - replace the wiper motor

I have purchased a homelink transmitter for my 2007 sport trac with sunroof. Where is the best place to tap the wires? I will be mounting the transmitter in the overhead console. Thanks for any advice Rick
