FORD does engine swaps? thats news to me....any more info you could share LaRue? also i hear a lot about the timing chain issue.....what is it and should i be worried..... 04 ST here with 114k miles and planning to keep it till it wont run. thanks in advance.

same here......... get bottom and top housing sensor or sensors mine had one.......some have two..... (i was told old sensor might not seal in new housing) and hoses while your at it and if money is no issue. ohh and t-stat if you havent replaced it in a while.

swshawaii so you're saying i need to buy the sensor new also? old sensor wont seal on new housing :( is it pricey?

yep it was the one sensor housing............got the two because thats the one that was on the instructions.........have to go back to dealer tomorrow to get the one with one sensor hole...... for future reference 04 st uses the one sensor housing..... the two sensor must be for exploreres ???

Mmmm. Is an 04 a 2 sensor housing or one? At ford dealer.

Thanks after i posted that i looked for coolant leaks on here and was afraid thats what it was :(

hello, Just noticed my 04 st leaking coolant up by the intake..... i thought it would be the plenum intake gasket or upper intake gasket like in my camaro but it seems like no coolant even goes in those gaskets. is there anywhere else that it could leak up there? please help...
