I feel the same way as you folks. I have driven a new F150. they are HUGE, ridiculous in fact. I believe all the half tonnes from all manufactures have been sized out of usefulness, you can't park them properly in a mall parking lot, they don't fit in smaller garages, they eat gas.. and so...

I understand what you are saying Rodger, however, I have read that the Colorado and Dakota are soon to hit the chopping block, so it really does look like midsize trucks are becoming a thing of the past. The only real option for us is going to be some sort of suv and a small trailer.

I believe Ford has decided that the Ranger sales dwindling mean no one wants a small truck anymore, but what has really happened is no one wants a new small truck with 20 year old technology. I would never buy a current "new" Ranger because it is exactly the same as the 1995 I used to have...
