What damage could occure if the engine is lugging - I always heard it will overheat. I do this all the time and periodically I will lug the engine but it doesn't seem to be causing any problems.

OK guys / gals I have the old P0401 code and was told that the only place to get a new DPFE sensor was from Ford - is that correct? Also, any idea how difficult it is to change this sensor? Thanks a ton for all of the help.

I have 75K on mine and the single problem that I had was the cotter pin that keeps the clutch and brake pedals in the correct position sheared off - replaced by myself and that was it, no further problems. I did however changed the manual tranny oil to deep purple at 50K. It didn't appear...

Man, you worry too much. If your changing your oil and filter on a regular basis, I don't think you need to use a specific type of oil filter. I used the Fram brand in my old truck and it ran great even after 158K miles. Just my opinion - but you have to do what you believe is best
