I don't have the answer but our 03 didn't have any locks for the cover. I would think you could just order new locks..

If you can afford it the 05 is a whole lot nicer. Night and day difference between the two. I just turned 60 and have had seven of them. You can run them pretty hard and still get 20 miles to the gallon..

I didn't know anyone wanted the tsb number as I have already had it done. The mechanic told me I need to put a couple of hundred miles on it to notice all the changes. He agreed the last one only worked for a short time and than the same problems started over,sluggish,jerking on take off, etc...

Tom, yes he has the automatic temp control same as mine. I haven't heard the noise myself but it must be loud enough that it is annoying. I have bought a lot of new cars and I don't recall any noise in any of them when the heat is on..... Dave

Go with plan B. The Mustang will get 20 plus MPG evan running it hard. Get a set of winter tires and drive it year round!
