Can anyone tell where to access the speedometer sensor wire and what color it is ? I am istalling a nav system that requires it, thanks in advance for the help

Scott, I have an "01 job 1. When I get a chance at home I will post a pic of the wire harness and location. Along with the diagram I used. At the doctors office right now.

gray/black at PCM, The PCM is located at the top of the firewall towards the passenger side.

Jim D, What do you need the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) wire for?
I have all kinds of good tips and tricks to by-pass this wire/sensor if you need
the help. I.E., for Audio/DVD player, etc...If this is it, I KNEW it was coming!

I picked up a blaupunkt nav system that ties into my head unit and it uses the speed sensor as part of keeping track of position, I guess it is an older model that needs more than the GPS receiver for tracking, thanks for replying though.
