What are these wires?

We are installing a trailer brake. Under the truck, in the back near the rear bumper, there are 2 terminated wires. One labeled "Aux CHMSL" and the other "Aux CHMSL Ground".



Any clue what these are for and where they go to?
 
Center

High

Mounted

Stop

Light



AUX = auxiliary = additional or supplemental

one is hot the other is ground

These would be useful if you had a pickup cap on the ST and needed to hook up the high brake light on the back of the cap.
 
I used the wire on the brake pedal, the one the manual for the brake controller told me to use.
