vinyl flooring pad

Anybody have suggestions on what to use for padding under my replacement vinyl flooring? The old had thin padding on the floor pans and thicker pad on the mound. The vinyl replacement came with just a little jute padding.

I used the thin flexable wall insulation on a van I built. The type that goes behind siding. Then I put the jute on top, then carpet.

Seemed to insulate the floor pan from road heat, cold and noise.

Well. Going to have the interior sprayed with line-x then put 1/2 neoprene and then vinyl.

Well. Made some progress. Linex bedliner sprayed in the interior. 1/2 in neoprene for subfloor. New vinyl nearing completion. Much quieter ride.
