OK, so I really like the Honda Ridgeline two way tailgate (drop or swing).

Has anyone ever seen a kit or modified their Trac to have one? Or even a full size pickup of any brand?

Thinking about the two way doors on old American station wagons (remember those?), I don’t recall any having the cable to support the down edge like typical trucks. It may also be
incompatible with the removable tail gate.

I think the Honda has a cable only on the swinging hinge side and it doesn’t seem to be removable.

    Any thoughts?

I've never seen a Honda Ridgeline up close so I can't say anything about those. I have however owned a few Ford Broncos in my time and the ones I owned had the two way tailgates. I also had a big ol' tuna boat Oldsmobile station wagon that had a two way tail gate as well.
