Is the SCT x4 the only tuner available for our trucks or are their others I should consider? I really just want a little better throttle response, some added performance and MPG wouldn't hurt either. Just not sure if a tuner is worth the $$. Educate please.

Its the best result with the best customization and customer service... Torrie is the man to ask at unleashed tuning... ALSO they sell used ones from time to time and you can save $$ !!

+1 for what Todd said. You can't go wrong with a tuner from Torrie.

I used a SCT from Torrie, and while the service was great with the original 3 tunes, I didn't notice a big difference in the performance or mpg in my STA (4.6L, AWD). After I had a supercharger installed and called emailed Torrie for help with a tune and he said he couldn't help.

His changes are only minor, if you force induction you need to dyno tune the truck and have it properly tuned or you will kill it.... I would expect any one to handle it that way... I know we have had trucks dynode and data recorded and sent that to torri and he emailed back a tune.....
