Thanks for all the tips. Have been looking more into this hoping to give you guys some new info. Truck threw a CEL a couple days ago and it was the P0401, so I cleaned the IAC, cleaned the throttle body, and changed the DPFE again (did this last year made the mistake of not buying OEM to save a couple bucks), also ran a coat hanger down the exhaust side to clear anything. When I was in ford getting the DPFE, I left the truck running, and my daughter said the truck was "bucking", the exact same thing it's doing when i'm stopped at a light. It seems that the RPM's are dropping to 400ish, and the truck bucks (I'm assuming to avoid a stall) and the RPM's raise back to 600. So it seems that the lurching is caused by the engine trying to stall out. I've changed the DPFE and reset the CEL but as of yet, this hasn't corrected the stalling/bucking. What the heck can I do to fix this? :banghead:
