    Hello ,
Recently I totaled my 2004 4x4 sport Trac. I found another one for sale 2001 4x4 with a bad transmission. I’m thinking my transmission still good it only has 108k on it. Does anyone know if it’s a simple swap? Or what I might have to look for in order to change it?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I dont have a 4x4. IMO if the '01 is a latter '01 production. I would think it, a straight forward application.
Your '04 is probably a better trans. As it has the valve body upgrades from the early year.
Also, don't use the torque convertor from the bad trans. It may be full of junk.

Depending on the year of the 01 it could potentially be a different trans as for the speed sensor.....I think you can just plug it... Its on top of the trans.
