Thanks for the examples. I too used to use the keypad all the time, for the reasons you mention and others.



Like I said, I don't think locking your keys in the car is a great idea. I do, however, think that the keypad makes it an attractive option that many don't recognize the dangers of.

Keypad or not, glass breaks really easy. I have never seen a time where locking your keys in the car is a good idea.

What about going to the beach?



Is it better to leave them in your shoe on a towel on the sand while in the water, where anyone could grab them and hike to the parking lot and then click the panic button until your ST goes disco...or would that example be a better case for locking them in the vehicle?



Just asking.
