Location just behind passenger side wheel well. This area is out of the way of many cargo jobs, is accessible without lifting the tonneau cover, and doesn't interfere with the cargo cage in any way.
I predrilled using a 1/8" drill bit, using the plastic mount as a template. I then fastened the plastic mount with two course thread screws.
Here's the extinguisher, strapped securely into the mount.
Here's the extinguisher, with cargo cage in place. I can get the extinguisher out without moving the cage or lifting the tonneau.
