We are pleased to welcome Linear-Logic as a 1-time group buy sponsor. They are the actual manufacturer of ScanGauge.

For the month of December only you can buy the ScanGauge II for only $149.95 shipped. The regular web price e is $169.00 plus shipping. Joey from Linear-Logic was nice enough to not include a minimum purchase so if you buy now you will have it in time for Christmas or even Hanukkah.

To purchase please sign up for the group buy and follow the payment directions in the group buy listing. The reason for signing up is so we can make sure this was a worthwhile partnership.

Thank you.

It does all this...

As a general rule geeks like to have access to as much data and statistics as possible. We pretty much figure this applies to a geek's motor vehicle as well. So, to allow you to access extra information about your car we would like to introduce the ScanGauge II Automotive Computer. This gadget is easy to install and provides a set of digital gauges, a comprehensive trip computer, and an engine trouble code scan tool.

The digital gauges mode displays four different properties on the screen (for example, fuel economy, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and engine speed). The trip computer tracks your vehicle's maximum speed, average speed, driving time, driving distance, trip fuel economy and several other pieces of trip data. The engine trouble code scan tool lets you read standard engine trouble codes as well as clear the "check engine" light and other warning lamps.

The ScanGauge II is simple to use and install and mounts in, on or below the dash. It plugs into the diagnostic OBD-II connector found under the dash on 1996 and newer cars and light trucks. The functions are accessed viaa simple on-screen menu interface. There is an automatic delayed power-down after engine shutoff and automatic power-up when engine is started. User and vehicle settings are automatically saved.

Also has these features.

Reads engine trouble codes and can reset the "check engine" light

Trip computer that automatically tracks various elements of trip data

Expanded digital gauges (fuel economy, battery voltage, coolant temp., etc.)

No tools needed to install - plugs into the OBD-II diagnostic connector

Simple menu driven operation

User-settable backlight color and brightness - 126 possible color/brightness settings

Batteries not required

Dimensions: 4.8"W x 1.5"H x 1"D

Connector cord length: 6 feet

User adjustable contrast and update rate (slow, normal and fast)

ScanGauge II compatibility list

Big display - 50% larger than the original ScanGauge

Cable detachable - can be connected on the back or side - RJ45 connection

One year manufacturer warranty

:D

I hope we get lots of participation on this, it took me about a month to get this GB going!! It's amazing what we'll do to save a few bucks:p I'm about to order mine right now!

Fast Eddie..yes it does read the new CAN. If you go click on the link and go to linear-logics site it says it there.

Iam going have to get clearance, but I want one. As Dan knows I had to get clearance to buy his wheels..LOL..She is the chief bread winner at this time..

Hmmm, was interested in one for my Lexus. But,,, it is not in the list. Toyota is though and Toyota builds Lexus...

Must have a different system though.

Oh well..

According to the info on the group buy page, you can add vehicle-specific gauges.

With our new feature called XGauge or Add-A-Gauge it allows the user to input up to 25 additional codes for vehicle specific gauges including things like transmission temperature, barometric pressure, and anything else that there is a sensor in the vehicle that ties into the OBDII port.

What gauges can be added to the ST, and how do I add them?

***EDIT: CRAP, I missed the new version of software when I ordered mine at the beginning of summer! I have to pay TWENTY FIVE BUCKS and mail it in, with a 1+ week turnaround? What the heck is that? The thing has a CAT5 plug in the back, why can't I just put a cable between my gauge and my pc and flash it myself?

25 bucks is lame, but the true problem is being gaugeless for a week plus :(

Coastie,

What year is your Lexus? After 1996 the chart basically just shows what vehicles it WON'T work on or if there is some type of issue with a certain vehicle. Everything else is compatible.

Kevin,

The ScanGauge has the ability to show other values that are reported by the ECM, but you might not have a dedicated gauge for. I'm not sure the ST has anything like that though. To add them seems to take some knowledge of how the computer reads these values and be able to input these codes into the ScanGauge.
