Hi all.

I know this has been addressed in past Post's but I can't find it anywhere.

This only happens when I am leaving a parking lot or going really slow and turn the steering wheel very sharp. The ST begins to idle rougher than usual. It hasn't died, just gets real rough.

I thought I saw a post explaining how to clean a value or something.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

3 things, There is a TSB for a new power steering pump. Causes steering shudder, OR the idle problem is clean the IAC motor, Or the p/s switch is going bad, but i would clean the IAC motor first...here is the link to the project i wrote up on it...

Thanks Todd.

The pictures aren't loading, the boxes have that little red X in the left corner. Do you think I will need the pic's to go by?

Thanks again,

Ron

Ron, as stated, Clean out your internet explorer cache, and temp files and cookies, sign out of the site, and relog back in. I would recommend the pics to aid you..

Ron, there is a tsb on this, my 2005 has the same problem.

Fix is to replace the trac's p/s pump with a 4-door explorer p/s pump, NOT an

explorer sport ( 2-door) p/s pump. This WILL cure the problem.
