I have a 2001, no longer under warranty. My rear window worked fine one day (the same day I happen to be bragging to my GM loyal dad about how great my truck was) and the next morning- nothing. It won't go down, doesn't even sound like it's trying to. Everything else works fine so I'm not sure if it's a fuse. My local dealership wants 30 bucks just to look at it. So if anyone could tell me what to look for or any ideas what it could be, let me know.

Search for info on this. There is a procedure to re-initialize the controller.

If that doesn't work, the motor assembly will probably need to be replaced.

Mine died recently, but it did it in the down position. I had to pull the motor and raise it by hand. then put the motor back in.

If you need a replacement, I would suggest Rusty at Spartan Linc/Merc. Best price- 108 plus shipping.

Here is a page out the manual . The one you looking for is #20 , it's a 7.5a fuse ...But if it was blown then your radio , moon-roof and other power windows would not work.

Would not hurt to look ........at lest you will got familiar with the fusebox.
