My pass. side rear head rest fell off. The plastic bracket inside head rest broke where 2 bolts/holder keep head rest to chrome brace. Is there any way to fix it without buying new one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As before You have always helped with good ideas. Thanks Geno

could try ebay or a junk yard..... Not quite sure what year options you have. Epoxy? screws?

I am trying to find out how to remove chrome bracket that head rest mounts to in back seat. Supposed to be clip or pin to disengage bracket. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Geno 2002 ford explorer sport trac.

Horseshoe clips must be pulled out to remove headrests. I pulled off the rear seat covers to access, but read they can be removed with a small pick with a hook. GL

Removed rear headrests, but they are stored in rear compartment in case I have rear passengers. Horseshoe clips not needed to hold headrests in position.

Thanks, I kept trying with small flat screwdriver and finally found place where I gently pried out in area where clip should be and about 40 min. later it was out. Thanks Geno

Thanks the pics helped and used small flat screwdriver and 40 min. later it is out. Now to figure out hoe to fix broke center section of plastic brace to put back together. I looked for used headrest and not many and pricey plus shipping. Thanks for help with pic. Any one repair the plastic bracket inside headrest before? Thanks Geno

can you clamp it, or epoxy ??

I am trying to figure that out. Not much room inside headrest, need to put something behind center plastic piece that broke out and bolts to metal brace. We will see. Thanks Geno
I finally got the pieces glued and screwed back together and installed. So far it is staying together and not moving. Again, thanks for all you help. Geno
