Guys,

I am getting a squeak from my rear axle when I am in a slow roll. It isn't constant more like two squeaks per revolution. Can this be rear bearings? I don't even know how rear bearings on a 2WD are removed. Maybe it is my rear shoes? It is pretty loud when I am at a the drive thru getting my morning coffee! LOL

You might look at the rear brakes. Mine did that and one of the shoes was out of round. A bit of sanding took care of it.

Lift the rear tires off the ground supported with jack stands and inspect.

Hi Gary, Yea, I just ran my hand over the shoe. (I had to remove the wheel) it was easy to feel a high spot. I used what paper that I had, probably about 200 grit. I have also had the backing plate rub the drum. Look for shiny metal in there.
