Has anyone ever consider putting the ST on a different frame? I was thinking that putting the ST cab on a 32 ford frame would make for a pretty unique street rod that could carry the whole family. I don't have the time/money for a project like that, but I could see my ST becoming a donor for that in a few years.

Something like this, but not so low to the ground:

You mean a "classic" body on the Trac frame ??? They make a kit to put a 36 Ford pickup on a Ranger frame I know. I'm going to end up with a complete intact chassis/drivetrain/cowl and the kit car has crossed my mind.

I don't think I'd want to ride on that primitive chassis/suspension/steering/brake engineering.

This all steel 36 Ford pickup belongs to my 82 year old uncle. It's on the original frame, which we boxed, but now has the Fatman Mustang II style front suspension with rack & pinion steering and discs. The rear is 9" Versailles w/discs.
