Problem with both key fobs working part time

Both my key fobs work part time. Sometimes they do and other times, you have to push the fob several times to get the doors to lock/unlock. I tried changing batteries with no luck. Fuses under the hood and in the passanger compartment are fine. My question: Where the the key fob antenna or control mod. located? Is it fused with a flasher under the drivers dash?

Almost sounds like a connection issue, like dirty contacts as you have done all of the other normal fixes...

I just took apart the key fobs and clean the contacts but no change. I've been rear ended twice so I'm starting to think if something was jarred loose like a connection issue.

I stiff feel it is a connection issue, however, it could be the module if it was damaged in the accident. It could have the same issues as poor contacts depending on temperature. Hot or cold changes the connections due to expanding and contraction...

Do you know where the module is located? Under the glovebox?
