Pioneer Radio Wiring

I have a 2002 and wish to get rid of after market radio now installed. JUNK. I would like to put back a OEM Pioneer 6 disc system. I have determined that the vehicle has to be wired from the factory for the Pioneer. How do you determine if it was wired this way?

Remove the dash, 2 screws and look to see if first they Hacked the plugs off Or used the right adaptors...



If adaptors, Just get the OEM radio and plug it in and done.



If hacked, Junk yard and get wiring and start splicing.

Is the Pioneer a double din touch screen? If so then it was modified to fit and you may not be able to reinstall the factory radio.
