Is it just me, or does that front grille look hideous?

IIRC, the trend of pickup trucks mocking "big rig" front ends started with the Dodge Ram in the mid nineties.
Thought it was just a fad back then. I guessed wrong.

"A review by the Dodge pick-up truck studio designers felt that modern pick-ups looked "too flat and sedan like", while the early 50's Studebaker pick-up and the semi-trailer trucks had just the right "macho" look to them. The design featured a big-rig-looking front end and a large grille that was nothing like the current Ford or Chevy/GMC pickups in design. The Dodge Ram Pick-up was selected as "Truck of the Year" for 1994."

Saw it. Not bad but kinda looks like every other Ford. It's nice to see coil springs in the front. Disappointing that they have little information on it. Bed is steel, not a composit. Nothing else we don't already know. Nothing about any other vehicles like maybe the Bronco. Auto show as a whole is kind of a dud this year.
