took the sta in today to have new tires put on the fronts i went with 245 45 20 amd the rears i went woth 285 40 20 for a trial size. anyway the backs are goodyear eagle rsa run flats. the first one took 45 min to get on the rim and on the back side there is a 8th in gap from the lip to the bead but its not leaking they said it was ok but im not sure. the second tire I watch them beat pry beat pry for 2 hrs its still not on so I had to leave the truck since they closed at 5 amd i was there trying to help figure it out till 7. this tire has about 10in around the rim on the front that wont seat and about a 3 in gap on the back that wont pop over to the lip. any ideas what is going on? anyone ever had this issue. I feel bad for these guys. i know 285 is max width for this rim is it only componded because the run flat? please help

i have 285/40-22 rear 10" wheel and 275/40-22 9" wheel front. The rears were tough to get to bead.

Glenn first off your truck looks amazing love it. second the morons trashed the second tire blew the side wall out so had to buy 2 cheap tires and pay for another set of mount and balances. so 285 on the back are on the back burner now

Sorry to hear that. The shop that did mine just had a x5 in and swapped tires. It had run flats on it and they had to cut them off. Couldn't break the bead. Thanks for the compliments.

Eddie yes it was put on me the second shop just completed the job that shop one started so the finger was pointed at shop 1. which is highly likely since shop one beat and pryed on it for a total of 4 hrs with 3 guys so 24 man hours of abuse. shop to had it on the rim seated ready for air in 15min with 0 beating or prying i watched but when they added air watch out. shop one said it was on me because they dont cover anything run flat my arguement was then you should have never touched it but either way im up the creek on this one.
