My windshield wiper fluid has quit. I do not hear the motor running when i push the button. I think it could be a fuse but i lost my owners maual. Would deeply appreciate anyone who can tell witch fuse controls the wiper fluid.

Thanks

Ray

The wiper motor is F 1.9 in the battery box under the hood. 20amp. I'll look further.

If you need to test the washer switch, look for the male plug: C203a, pins 5&6 will have a closed circuit when pushing the button.

Also check fuse: F 2.27 in the central junction box 7.5 amp

www.genuineservice.com will give you a .pdf copy of your owner's manual for most Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury vehicles.

It was the windshield wiper fluid pump that failed. To replace the pump you need to remove the front passenger fender wall to get to the pump. It took less than 30 minutes and the pump was $14.
