Read somewhere before removing and replacing rear window seal, remove 3rd brake light and caulk around light seal. Anyone know how to remove 3rd brake light lens?

Please update your profile so we know what year your truck is.

The Lights are mostly held in by two screws on top if gen 2...

If you silicone it will be a pain to change the bulbs, the best is to go to the hardware store and get the self sticking window weather foam, Place it ON TOP of the old gasket, then re install.

Push down on the light as you tighten the screws, But don't over tighten.

Good advise Todd Z,

My initial thought was to use clear silicone sealant....but I did not think about how difficult it would be to change bulbs in the future...:banghead:

Todd, sorry I didn't respond to your response to my question/problem with the rear window, but I was having computer problems. I'm fixed. Its a 2010 and I updated my profile.

Thanks.
