I have to admit that its hard to part with something that has been a reliable part of your life for so long, but my Sport Trac is needed elsewhere. I complained in church to the pastor that we have too many vehicles, and we probably ought to get rid of one or two. Immediately one of the girls of the church, who I have known since she was a toddler, spoke up and said "we need a car!" She has kids of her own now, and needed the extra space the Trac provided, and she didn't have a lot of money to spend. So I sold the Trac to her, for less than market value. It surprised me how much I didn't want to sell it, but it's been a part of my life for more than 16 years and 400,000 miles, and it's been incredibly reliable. It does need some tender loving care that I just haven't had the time to provide, but her dad is a bus mechanic for the school district, so I know it will get good servicing. So, no more Trac. Maybe I'll pick up one of the new Rangers when they come out, but for now I guess I'll just have to split my time between the Ram and the Mustang.

It's going to someone who needs it, and it'll be well used and taken care of it sounds. I know my Trac has driven my boys around, they've played in the bed, watched me work on it, and pretended to drive it. Those kids will get to have those kinds of experiences with your Trac now.

Know EXACTLY who you are speaking of. Todd's "Green" used to be a nice ST. (NFL = Not For Long)

    Sad, but true:

Wow, just wow! It's like helplessly witnessing a beloved family member slowing being crushed under the wheels of a huge Mack truck. It's hard to watch that video, and observe the decline of such an once valuable piece of machinery. :(

Thats a good deed. Sounds like its going to a good home. On another note, thats the exact type of thing i like to hear. Reliable, 400K miles! I just got rid of a Range Rover that gave me tons and tons of headaches and problems so its nice to read about Sport Trac reliability from an owner.

That’s the new owner that has it. Sadly the person I sold it to was a bad person and Effed over the new owner and it’s been a painful experience for the new owner now. Period.
