I have to admit that its hard to part with something that has been a reliable part of your life for so long, but my Sport Trac is needed elsewhere. I complained in church to the pastor that we have too many vehicles, and we probably ought to get rid of one or two. Immediately one of the girls of the church, who I have known since she was a toddler, spoke up and said "we need a car!" She has kids of her own now, and needed the extra space the Trac provided, and she didn't have a lot of money to spend. So I sold the Trac to her, for less than market value. It surprised me how much I didn't want to sell it, but it's been a part of my life for more than 16 years and 400,000 miles, and it's been incredibly reliable. It does need some tender loving care that I just haven't had the time to provide, but her dad is a bus mechanic for the school district, so I know it will get good servicing. So, no more Trac. Maybe I'll pick up one of the new Rangers when they come out, but for now I guess I'll just have to split my time between the Ram and the Mustang.
