Inside Door Handle Not Working

So last weekend, the handle on the inside rear driver's door stopped functioning. It's as if the child lock is engaged, but it's not. I've checked it, and also cycled the child lock back and forth several times. Thoughts?

So last weekend, the handle on the inside rear driver's door stopped functioning. It's as if the child lock is engaged, but it's not. I've checked it, and also cycled the child lock back and forth several times. Thoughts?

The cable may have broken or fallen off the handle. Door panel is pretty easy to take off there is 2 bolts in the handle, 2 in the bottom handle after you pop off the plastic and one on the bottom. Check and see if the steel cable is still attached to the back of the door handle
