I went to the dealer and had them tie wrap the cruise/throttle cable by the firewall, and I still have the rattle noise at 2000 rpm.......Oh Well!

There was a TSB for the 01 and 02 models. It should have not been an issue on your Trac but it is worth looking at.



Under a load while accelerating there was a buzzing or vibration coming from near the center of the dash. It ended up being the PCM.
