BTW, that would be a great new toolbutton at the bottom, work like the QUOTE button, but instead add the LINK tags around the highlighted text.

[link]http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/inside 50 series.wav[/link]

[link] http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/inside 50 series.wav [/link]

Doh...Maybe I am confusing LINK with IMG?

[link]http://www.google.com[/link]

Nope, that didn't work...I thought there was a way.

No, I see you tried the Link entry field below...that only adds one.

I don't know if raw HTML will work, but here goes:

You enter something like the following, but square brackets replaced with less than sign and greater than sign:

[a href="http://www.google.com"]Google[/a]

Testing it now:

<a href="http://www.google.com">Google</a>

okay... so i use a < and > instead of the [ and ] ? who in god green earth created this stuff? it's like learning krypton or something!!!!!

Quick Bit.

I have a K&N intake, Y-pipe, Hiflo Cat, no Resonator, and 2.5 piping all around. This is a single pipe set up. The only difference between these sound clips are the muffler. One is the popular 40 series and the other is a the quieter 50 SUV series.

These are start ups and quick revs from outside of the Trac 10 long strides away from the tip of the exhaust pipe. I should have gone further back and apologize that the recording gets a very loud during some of the revving....

40 series

<a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/start up 40 series.wav> 40 series Start Up</a>

50 SUV series

<a href=”http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/outside 50 series.wav> 50 SUV Start Up</a>

These are from the interior and is where a HUGE difference is made between the two mufflers. The 50 SUV is much more quiet inside than the 40 series and is the exact reason i purchased it.

40 series

<a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/intertior 40 series.wav> Interior ~ 40 Series</a>

50 SUV series

<a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/inside 50 series.wav> Interior ~ 50 SUV Series</a>

Everyone has their own tastes but I preferred the 50 series because it creates 80% of the 40 series sound with 35% of the interior resonance.

Hope this might help some people looking into mufflers.

Yes, Woppy, it's standard HTML. The QUOTE and IMG tags that this site supports are really not HTML, but are keywords that get converted to HTML. I thought [LINK] was a similar replacement keyword/tag, but it isn't. So I dropped down to raw HTML.

It does work, and if I wanted to get the syntax right we could even make it popup in a new window. For that you simply add the following: target="_blank"

As in:

[a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/inside 50 series.wav " target="_blank"]Inside 50 Series[/a]

Testing (replaced [ and ] with less-than and greater-than):

<a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/inside 50 series.wav " target="_blank">Inside 50 Series</a>

Woppy, still not working...

Cut/paste the following, edit as needed, change [ and ], and insert into your posts:

[a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/21386/inside 50 series.wav " target="_blank"]Inside 50 Series[/a]
