Headlight warning not working and dome light not activating

Hi all,



My 02 has a couple of issues I'm hoping you can help with:



1. The warning beep that the headlights are on when you open the door to exit the vehicle doesn't sound any longer.



2. The interior dome light does not come on when opening the driver side door (it does for all other doors).



Suggestions?

Possible sticking or faulty driver door ajar switch inside the latch. Try spray lube first. If it works, lube all of them.

Coincidentally, I just replaced my interior door handle...may be related to this new problem.
