Only two cars have let me down, neither were Ford products (Audi Fox - tranny froze, I think, and Honda Prelude, wasn't good about oil changes so I paid for it the hard way). While I enjoyed the first ST, it came at the expense of getting rid of my favorite car (my '92 GT)...and the only reason I got it was because we were moving to Texas and felt I had to fit in so I needed a truck. Like you didn't want a full size truck, so the '02 ST made sense. Getting the '10 ST actually made sense to do, unlike the '02. Getting in and out of the Fusion was getting difficult due to the "war" wound in my knee (21 years of military service will do that), the other reason was the wifes car ('06 Freestyle) is pushing 250K and I wanted another vehicle to take north with her medical supplies...Fusion was too small for that. Lastly, the Fusion was part of the Takara air-bag issue...not cool. We take very good care of our vehicles so they have always taken care of us. I heard the 2019 model year is going to be a huge shake-up in Fords inventory...all cars except the Mustang and the Focus Energi will be gone...and the reason I mentioned this at all is because they are bringing back the Ranger (https://www.ford.com/trucks/ranger/2019/). It looks very nice, but it will only come with a 4 cylinder engine w/ EcoBoost.
